Marriage Rights vs. Civil Union Rights Hawaii Bill 444 by LindaMSEnos

Today, we are looking at a vast number of adults and children in need of health insurance as well as financial assistance. Those that fall by the way side and through the cracks of social services system because of our strict ideologies and beliefs created by others who want to justify their own existence/platform without much responsibility for the outcome.

The ‘homosexuals’ have their own reasons they choose to do what mainstream of society calls a sin. Of course they both have their own points of view. One side says it is only fair to give them the right to call themselves a family. If they work and pay the taxes then give the same sex union inalienable rights and the benefits of that of a tax-paying citizen who takes on the legal and financial responsibilities of caring for others with the willingness to call them family. One can agree if a group of people live under one roof, break bread together you are acting as a family of sorts. Its about the quality of life for all people especially the tax paying people.

The right wing states religious reason why not to engage or support or condone in any type of homosexual behavior. The sanctity and principles of marriage and its original intended use should be left for heterosexual couples. On the issue of the vote for same sex marriage, my vote is to say no. However, I do say yes to civil union and the certification and celebration of that type of union. Let God be the final judge and jury. It is for me just the principal of the matter nothing more. One might conclude after much deliberation if God can give us the freewill to choose, who are we and how we are to be, how can we as Christians set our own ideology above that of the Holy Trinity? The end serves the means and visa verse.

Still after stating this let me make it clear I by no means agree to the issuance of a marriage certificate to same sex couples but civil union certification seems only civil and humane. If you had the misfortune of missing out on a High School Diploma and instead have a GED graduation equivalency diploma you know in your minds-eye its not a high school diploma.

Finally, I must also dare to ask from those who adamantly push their same sex marriage agenda, please have the same tolerance that you request of those living on the mainstream of society as well. Though we don’t see eye to eye, for the sake of society as a whole I urge politicians to set aside their party agenda and see things for what they truly are.

Christians remember to believe in the Jesus who turned tables but also believe in the same Jesus that allowed us to choose and then gave his life for the forgiveness of all our sins and showed us that sometimes it’s a sacrifice into the great unknown. Keep the faith that all that is being done under the sun is just as it should be and all apart of God’s will. I implore all of you to have faith to take the high road and please move on… forward into the true light.
